And the WINNER is...

Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner for this, but have been tied up somewhat (for a change, some of you might say). Thank you for India Drummond for judging the "Hell in a Hand Cart" writing competition. You can find out more about her brilliant work at http://www.indiadrummond.com/

So, without further ado...

(Imaginary drumroll)

The winner is J.M. Schmidt for her entry:

Finally at terms with the fact I’d be tortured for eternity, I crossed the threshold of the chamber, only to be handed a carving knife and pliers by a squat nosed demon who nodded me towards a table where my child laid strapped down and looking up at me with terrified eyes.

India liked this entry because it was "specific, evocative, and very 'now'. Chilling!"

An Amazon voucher to the value of £20 will be wending its way to J.M. Schmidt shortly.

Honourable mentions also go to Mrs Smith and Rebecca L Dobbie.

Thanks for all your entries and may the Easter Bunny bring you much chocolate.
